However, being a paid beta tester, like any other job, does have a few drawbacks.

Admittedly, the drawbacks of game testing are not too terrible to put up with, but they do exist and each & every tester must accept and deal with them. What Professional Game Testers Get Paid To Do ——————————————————- Contrary to what you may think, you won’t just be playing video games all day long. In truth, being paid to test a video game is WAY different than simply playing a game for fun.

Why? Simply because professional game testing, like any other type of job, is NOT all fun and games — there is actual work involved. but when it comes to the dramatically tiny and far less obvious ones, game companies rely on the best game testers to get the job done.

That being said, as a professional video game tester it’s YOUR JOB to test the game however long it takes so that you can find and properly document all possible in-game bugs & glitches!

The Average Video Game Tester Salary ——————————————— There is no set amount that you’ll begin earning when you begin professionally testing games for money. Different developers pay different wages, so it’s somewhat difficult to give a precise figure on what a video game beta tester can or will be paid. Having said that, don’t wholeheartedly trust ads that say tester are paid in excess of $100 an hour.

Although it’s not a full blown lie, it’s not really truth either — Video game testers are paid well, just not that well. With wages at a whopping $120 per hour, a tester would make $600 by putting in only 5 hours of work. To be honest, you would have a real tough time finding a professional video game tester that gets paid even half that amount for a complete days work. Average Tester Salary: Yearly earnings of a paid beta tester can range from a low $18,000 to an unbelieveable $80,000 or more.

Its not your shirts. Its not your arms. Its your eyes. You just havent noticed, because theres always been enough arm to go around. Not anymore. Over time, its gotten harder for you to see the fine print but you didnt think it was a big deal, because you could always read it, even if you had to hold it a little farther away. Only you didnt realize it was twelve inches away, then eighteen, then twenty four, then you couldnt read it no matter how far away you held it. Its time to consider reading glasses. And what a consideration they are. The sharp angles of the Lincoln by Seeqa provides classic, yet cutting-edge style. The optical stainless steel and zyl temples ensure your glasses will hold up to many years of wear. Protect these gems with the included hard leatherette color-matched custom case. It was really cold on my walk through the park yesterday. The bright blue of the sky and multitude of brilliant sunshine was deceptive, making me think that it would be warm enough to venture outside. To walk through the warmth of the sunshine was not so bad but the second I stepped through the shade of a tree perched alongside the sidewalk, it was uncomfortably cold.

I walked to the rec center, thinking I would find a little relief from the chill while looking up information on the facility.

A mom was walking away from the building as I approached. The two- or maybe three-year-old had unknowingly dropped one of her mittens as I passed, and I picked it up and brought it back to her. She stopped as she saw I was approaching her.

Oh, hello! she said. I laughed at her grown-up sounding greeting. Hi sweet one! Is this your glove? I held out the fuzzy polka-dotted pink mitten.
